Nestled in the heart of a charming historic area, my stay was a blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The spacious room, complete with a balcony overlooking the fascinating lock, provided a unique experience of watching ships pass through. The updated bathroom and comfortable beds ensured a pleasant stay, despite the dated decor. Safety features like a smoke detector added peace of mind.The inn's proximity to tourist attractions such as Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake was convenient for exploration. The welcoming staff offered excellent service and were accommodating to our needs. The free WiFi throughout the property was a practical feature for staying connected. While the 24-hour operation of the lock generated some noise, the sight of the ships passing by was truly captivating.my visit was a delightful mix of relaxation and cultural immersion, making it a memorable stay in the lovely town of Thorold.
